named after my favorite beanie baby, i had chip since she was a kitten. her hair was medium, soft, and she was a rather short cat. she chirped a lot, and loved chicken. she was very feisty too- i would run away from her and she would attack my feet. then in the night, she would let me hold her like a stuffed animal and we would go to sleep. she died at the very end of 2014. it used to cause me a lot of grief, as her death was slow because of the cancer, but i feel now that she's still around somehow. i can look at pictures of her again. i want to remember her as she was, vibrant and ever so full of life.

i have always loved calico cats. chip strengthened my opinion. she was my best friend and was who made me better. i will always love her ♥

15yr brown/white mackerel tabby

yin's namesake comes from a charcter i used to have as a teenager. i fostered her for weight gain and because she was sick. she had a sister named mio, but mio passed with assistance from our vet. she had a gum disease that was affecting her quality of life. when yin started to have gum complications too, she had surgery to remove her molars and the issue has ceased to be.

yin is quiet and likes me the most. when she was younger she had really bad seperation anxiety and would cry if i was away for too long. now she is calmer, residing in my apartment where she can yowl and play with toy springs as if she were a kitten again. she has early onset kidney disease, and is being treated for it. i will make her last years as comfortable as possible.
she sleeps above my head and greets me when i come home.

she is my angel. the reason i've prevailed for so long. i had her since she was 2 weeks old, and had to wean her and make sure she grew strong. she didn't have siblings, and was found alone (possible she was going to be moved last by her mother), because of this she learned to play from me and she's very feisty!

she's so entertaining, she loves attention, and she's super squishy and soft. often she'll lay or sleep by my feet, and sit beside me when she wants to be picked up.

i spoil her a lot. she's grown more docile as she ages but still has bursts of zoomies and chases her sisters. her voice is a lower pitch than the other cats, and her vocalizations use her tongue a lot. she sticks her tongue out a lot too ♥ she looooves yogurt and always shakes her food before eating it

she was the first cat i adopted after chip. i fostered her and her siblings to gain weight, and instantly knew i wanted to keep her.
as a kitten she sucked her thumb, she had a habit of peeing on soft material (very rare now, once ever few months), and is a huge cuddlebug. i can pull her into bed and she'll fall asleep in my arms.

she got a hematoma on her left ear, and because it healed odd- she looks like she has a dog ear! it doesn't bother her thankfully.

she's veryyy fluffy and very very soft. even though she's almost a senior she meows like a kitten, shrill and high-pitched. i love her, and i feel like part of chip resides in her- though i know it's most likely wishful thinking.

josie likes to cuddle so much that she would attempt to cuddle with yin and amelia, which both of them would refuse and swat at her.
when i fostered nisha as a baby, she cuddled josie constantly and i could tell josie felt more at ease. in a way i felt like i had to adopt her. you can even see josie's paw around her in this picture!

nisha is an attention hog. she has sensitivity issues and will hiss loudly if she feels she's been pet too long, but doesnt pose any threat as she'll loop around to rub your hand. she's very affectionate, picky, and is quite the character.
she's so funny and soft. she also will sleep above me or my partner's head at night. whenever she wants to cuddle josie, she will straight up lay on her and lean on her sister so she's compelled to groom her. i love her dearly.
